Student entrepreneurs in the United States can apply to the Michael Scarpaci Scholarship for a chance to be awarded $1,000 which will go to a single university student that wants to start a business after graduation, or a high school student accepted to a university on the road to entrepreneurship. Scholarship Overview

Michael has spent years as an entrepreneur across several industries, and from this, he realizes how difficult it can be to create a new business from the ground up. Michael would like to give back a little to a deserving student entrepreneur.

The Michael Scarpaci Scholarship announces the beginning of our annual scholarship which will provide funding for a deserving student entrepreneur, and focus on generating awareness to the issues faced for young students when they graduate and launch a company to help more of our young entrepreneurs succeed.

Criteria

To be eligible to apply, the applicant should be a current student in a university or a high school student preparing for university. We will give preference to those students who are interested in entrepreneurship and intend to launch a business upon graduation.

We will award our scholarship funding based on the winner of our essay contest. We will select one student as a winner based on the best response of a creative essay of under 1000 words which answers the following.

“Explain an industry that is currently experiencing many issues in the world, and how you would use your company to improve upon it to make the world a better place.”

Amount

One time award of $1,000

Deadline

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is August 15, 2022.

Winner Announced

The winner for the scholarship will be announced September 15, 2022.

Applicant should email their response to the essay question “Explain an industry that is currently experiencing many issues in the world, and how you would use your company to improve upon it to make the world a better place.” in Word Doc format to [email protected].
